The story starts with a race win at Brooklands in 1930, tea with a Duke, a patented watch complication, a very smart watch boutique manager and the CEO of a major Swiss watch brand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"991\"\u003eThis watch was sold to me by the manager of the IWC Bond Street store which is noted on the invoice. I asked for a special serial number and this watch is No 588\/1000. Interpretation of 588: It is often read in Chinese as wǔ bā bā (我发发), which roughly translates to \"I make a fortune\" or \"I prosper\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-renderer-start-pos=\"1293\"\u003eThe watch is in perfect condition and has never been worn.
