Auction Collection - Weekly Highlights 02

The Buying Time Auction Collection is growing — and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has generously donated a piece in support of our work.

Each watch in the collection carries its own remarkable story. Here are four examples from last week.

Watch 01 — Omega x Swatch - MoonSwatch - Mission to Venus

This new and unworn Bioceramic MoonSwatch is donated in memory of Michael Jeffs.

Oval subdials embellished with diamond-like details on the edges and a two-toned pink and white bezel, add a touch of elegance. The hours, minutes, chronograph seconds hand and subdial hands are in pink. All dials in the collection carry the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo and the MoonSwatch logo.

What takes this collection into orbit is the fusion of the most innovative Swatch Bioceramic material with the key OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch design elements. There's the asymmetrical case, the iconic 'dot over ninety' detail on the tachymetric scaled bezel, and the distinctive Speedmaster subdials.

Watch 02 — Christopher Ward - C63 Sealander Automatic (Black)

Kindly donated by Christopher Ward.

Five years after the Sealander collection launched, the go-anywhere, do-anything C63 Sealander Automatic returns. And it's more refined, more premium - and more powerful than ever. Sealander embodies Christopher Ward's goal of bringing true watchmaking to as many people as possible, so when we embarked on the second iteration, we knew it had to be right.

As chief operating officer Sarah Baumann says: "When a watch becomes as important to customers as the Sealander has, you don't chase change for its own sake. You focus on the details. And this new generation reflects years of listening, learning and refining."

Watch 03 — Golby - Aquareef 40

Kindly donated by Craig and Sarah Golby, this Aquareef 40 is a one-off produced for The Buying Time Foundation and is called Nemo in Orange & Aqua. The Golby aesthetic is inspired by the British coastline.

Integrating these influences into gender-neutral designs that are vibrant, accessible and pragmatic. Blending adventure-ready practicality with coastal-inspired design, the Aquareef 40 brings a fresh chapter to Golby's growing story.

Featuring the brand's trademark oil-pressed dial, bold new colourways, and a host of engineering upgrades, this new model evolves the original Aquareef DNA into a dual-time tool watch designed for both land and sea.
