From the fire service to Burns Camps.
The story behind this watch has a fitting connection to the charity it is now helping to support.
Created using repurposed equipment from the fire service, this watch already had a story. The funds raised through its sale have now contributed towards a Buying Time Foundation grant to Burns Camps, a small, volunteer-run charity supporting young burns survivors.
Burns Camps brings young burns survivors together through two residential camps each year, giving them the opportunity to form friendships, try new experiences and simply have fun. Being alongside others who understand some of the challenges they face can also help them open up, share their experiences and gain confidence and strength from one another.
Our grant will help more young burns survivors benefit from these experiences, building confidence, finding support in one another and simply enjoying being young.
