This is where the story of one very special watch becomes something much bigger.
We are delighted to make a grant to Spread a Smile, a charity bringing joy and laughter to seriously and terminally ill children in hospitals across the UK.
When a child is seriously ill, everyday opportunities to laugh, play and simply enjoy being a child can become much harder to find.
Our grant will fund 16 hospital visits, each bringing a professional entertainer and support worker directly to children on the wards. These visits provide a welcome distraction from treatment and a chance to focus on something other than illness.
Each visit typically reaches around 16 children, giving the grant the potential to reach more than 250 young people and make a difficult day that little bit brighter.
Because sometimes, making time count can be as simple as making someone smile.
